January 2010 - New Growth for Coastline Surveys
Having undertaken marine surveys for 18 years predominantly in the geophysical and environmental sectors, Coastline Surveys Ltd embarked on a major expansion programme in 2009 in order to service new and growing markets. This exciting move includes a new operating base in Lowestoft, development of a new CPT (C-Pen20) designed specifically for cable route surveys, purchase of a new phase difference swath sonar echo sounder and a range of new seabed sampling and coring systems including an ultra-high-powered vibrocorer (uHPC). This growth is being driven forward with the addition of a number of key specialist personnel all with significant experience in marine survey operations. In fact Coastline Client services will now benefit with nearly 100 years marine operational experience.
Managing Director Dr David Hitchcock says “This exciting growth brings Coastline Surveys to a new phase from where we are in an ideal position to service the emerging renewable energy sector as well as other sectors such as oil and gas and nearshore civil engineering”.
